Five things we learnt from Brighton & Hove Albion’s draw at home to Wolves

Brighton & Hove Albion: Half time with Hodges

1) Although one should never assume, Craig Mackail-Smith appeared delighted with his then disallowed goal. Perhaps Macca has set his sights on one more Amex goal and celebration with his loyal North Stand fans before his contract expires in June.

2) Albion conceded within around five minutes of scoring at the Amex for the seventh time this season.

3) Tomasz Kuszczak is still held in high regard by Seagulls fans. The keeper. who played for the club from 2012-14 received  warm and generous applause from the North Stand throughout the second half and responded with a couple of mouthed thank yous.

4) The Falmer transport links are working well. The smooth and effective transition of both sets of fans from stadium to station is a credit to those who organise. Many of the crowd were able to get back to central Brighton for just after the start of the England v Scotland rugby match.

5) Joao Teixeira was voted Albion’s Man of the Match by the sponsors for the 5th time this season. However, other strong candidates were Bruno Saltor, Inigo Calderon and, on balance of saves made, even David Stockdale.
