Albion have signed highly rated attacking midfielder Mustapha Carayol for the rest of the season on loan from Middlesbrough.
Albion boss Christ Hughton said: “Mustapha was attracting a lot of interest from Championship clubs, both prior to his injury and at this current point in time.
“He is someone both the club and I have been aware of for some time so we are absolutely delighted he has opted to join us on loan for the rest of the season.
“He is an exciting, dynamic player, he is quick and direct and he gives us a different option alongside our other attacking players.”
Carayol joined Boro in 2012 and had previously played for Torquay United, Lincoln City and Bristol Rovers. He also spent time on loan at Crawley Town in 2008. The Gambian started his career at MK Dons.
It is unlikely, however, that he will be able to play in Albion’s last match of the season away at Boro.
Albion have allowed loan signing Emmanuel Ledesma to rejoin Middlesbrough after a short loan period.
