Brighton & Hove Albion: Cherries pick off Albion

By Tim Hodges from the Amex Press Conference

1) Rohan Ince told Brighton and Hove News that the goal he scored against Swindon – nominated by Sky Sports for Mitre Goal of the Year – was the best he had ever scored. He’d love to win the award especially while reprsenting the Albion.

2) Chris Hughton told @bhcitynews that he wasn’t concerned that the last five games were all against teams that have something to play for. He went on to say that he thought that there would enough pride in every team to make things competitive in this league.

3) He did suggest, however, that he would have liked to have avoided the top teams if it had been possible.

4) Hughton acknowledged that Bournemouth had only two loan players whereas Albion currently have five, saying that, in terms of early season preparation, he preferred season-long loans if necessary.

5) The Albion boss also told Brighton and Hove News that he saw Lewis Dunk as a great defender and a great prospect whose future was as a centre half although he admitted that Dunk had an instinct around the opposition goal.
