An electrical fire filled the basement of a Brighton home with thick smoke in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters from Preston Circus were called to the fire in Bonchurch Road at 5.16am.
They found a small electrical fire in the basement had been put out by the time they arrived, but the room was still filled with smoke.
A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke.
