A teenager from Portslade who had been missing for a week has been found safe and well in Hove, Sussex Police said today (Tuesday 14 April).
The force said that 16-year-old Gemma Black, who had been missing since Monday 6 April, was found yesterday (Monday 13 April).
She was found shortly after an appeal to find her was published on news websites in the area along with copies of her photograph.
Police said yesterday that they had become concerned for her welfare after she disappeared from her home in Portslade.
She was last seen in Maplehurst Road having said that she was popping to a nearby shop.
