Fire crews were called out to tackle two blazes in Brighton last night (Monday 4 May) but in both cases the fires were put out before the firefighters arrived.
Just after 7pm East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to tackle a vehicle fire in the NCP car park in Russell Road, Brighton.
A similar blaze, involving a car, led to the evacuation of the Churchill Square car park in Brighton a month ago.
Just over an hour later three fire engines were sent to a property in Regency Square, Brighton.
They arrived to find that a small fire had been dealt with.
