Detectives hunting biker who evaded two police helicopters charge 32-year-old man

Detectives hunting a biker who managed to escape dozens of police officers and two force helicopters on Thursday have charged a man.

Gavin Collett, 32, unemployed, of Bramber Road, Broadwater, was arrested in Fratton, Hampshire, on Sunday (13 March).

He was subsequently charged with two counts of failing to stop at the scene of an accident, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

Collett will appear before Crawley Magistrate’s Court on Monday (14 March).

    A Brighton man has been sent to prison for harassing his ex-partner.

    Gavin Collett, 31, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty when he appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (2 May).

    The very same man?

    Not often I say someone is a menace to society but this guy really seems to fit the bill…
