A cyclist from Hove is in a critical condition in hospital after a suspected hit and run in Brighton early yesterday (Saturday 2 April).
The 28-year-old man was found lying in the road in Old Shoreham Road, Brighton, near the corner of Lancaster Road, close to St Luke’s Church Prestonville.
Sussex Police said that they were called out at about 3.50am to deal with the incident, along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
The force said: “The casualty was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with head injuries.”
