A lightning strike has apparently set a house on fire in Peacehaven this evening, leading to the diversion of traffic while firefighters deal with the blaze.
Paul Stevens took this video of smoke billowing from the house in Ambleside Avenue shortly after 6pm:
At least two fire engines from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service are on the scene.
Buses are unable to stop as the incident unfolds.
Due to an incident on Ambleside Avenue, the 14/14C are unable to serve stops in both directions at this time. Apologies.
