Sussex Police said that officers were concerned about the welfare of missing 51-year-old Beverley Weaver from Hove.
The force said: “It is believed that Beverley left an address in Ingram Crescent West at around 4pm on Wednesday (31 August) driving a light blue Renault Captur.
“She may still be in the Hove area or could have headed towards London or Beachy Head.
“Beverley is described as white, 5ft 5in and of slim build with short blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a blue tank top.”
Inspector James Davidson said: “We are concerned about Beverley because she suffers with depression and this is out of character for her.
“Please contact us if you have any information which can help us find her and make sure she is ok.”
Anyone who sees Beverley or who knows her whereabouts is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
If she is in danger or in need of urgent medical attention, the force said: “Please call 999 immediately.”
