Perfume theft suspect flees hospital without meds

Police are searching for Michael Murray who was arrested on suspicion of theft in Brighton on Tuesday (1 November). The arrest was made in connection with the theft of some fragrance sets from a shop in North Street that afternoon.
Following his arrest, the 28-year-old from Sutton in Surrey was taken to hospital because of a pre-existing medical condition where he absconded.

Inspector Bill Whitehead said: “We are concerned about Michael Murray’s health as he suffers with epilepsy and it was not believed he had any medication with him.

“If you see him or know where he may be then please either email or call 101 quoting reference 1484 of 01/11.”
