The coastguard flew an injured wind farm worker to hospital after being called out by the RNLI Shoreham all-weather lifeboat.
The lifeboat crew were out on a training exercise when they were diverted to a platform being used to install the Rampion wind farm last night (Wednesday 8 February).

The worker was on the MPI Discovery, a wind turbine installation vessel, about 12 miles south west of Brighton and Hove, when he was injured and needed hospital treatment.
The lifeboat crew called out the coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-Solent which flew the injured man to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment.
