Manager of Brighton and Hove Albion’s women team dismissed after allegations

Brighton & Hove Albion 1 Reading 0

Albion lead Reading at half time at the Amex in this crucial fixture.

Sam Baldock fired home from close range after the ball rebounded off the Reading skipper, former Albion defender Paul McShane.

Prior to this Baldock hit the post as his curling shot left former Seagulls loanee Ali Al-Habsi stranded.

Anthony Knockaert also had a good chance but Al-Habsi saved his low shot well.

Danny Williams has had Reading’s best chance. David Stockdale saved it well with his feet.

On 45 minutes fans remembered former Albion defender Paul McCarthy who passed away last weekend.
