Hove will have two representatives in the Greyhound Derby Final today (Saturday 1 July).
The event is being held at Towcester now that the competition’s spiritual home at Wimbledon has been closed down.
Both dogs are trained by Seamus Cahill. Droopy’s Acrobat runs out of trap 2 and Astute Missile out of trap 4.
They are currently priced at odds of 10/1 and 33/1 respectively.
Both dogs have competed in at least five heats to make it to the prestigious final.
The winning owners will receive the trophy and £175,000 in prize money.
The race is being shown live on Sky Sports and is off at 8.56pm.
