A man from Brighton man suffered a serious neck injury when he was attacked with a broken bottle outside a burger bar early yesterday morning (Sunday 3 September).
Sussex Police said that it was trying to trace the three men who were believed to be responsible for “a particularly violent assault”.
The force said: “A 19-year-old Brighton man was attacked with a broken bottle in North Street, Brighton, in the early hours of Sunday morning (3 September).
“Police are seeking three men who ran off after beckoning the teenager out of Burger King at about 3.45am and attacking him, following an earlier verbal altercation.
“The victim was with friends in the restaurant and once outside was assaulted, suffering cuts to his neck for which he received hospital treatment.”
DC Aaron Halsey said: “This is a particularly violent assault during which the victim was attacked with a broken bottle and received a serious injury to his neck.
“Police attended quickly but unfortunately the suspects had run off.
“We are doing all we can to trace them.
