After news that a fire has badly damaged the Cbabiesafe nursery in Palmeria Avenue, Hove, Heather Johns, the manager of Robins nursery, has offered a free week of child care to parents of the children unable to attend the fire-damaged property.

Mrs Johns told Brighton and Hove News how aware she was of incidents like these as her own nursery was badly damaged by a flood a few years ago.

She said: “We’d like to offer a  practical immediate solution, for a week, until parents can sort out a more permanent  alternative.”

Mrs Johns currently has spare capacity and is willing to help out as much as possible.

Heather Johns can be contacted on 01273 725600 or 07542 094192.

Whiltst Cbabiesafe appreciate the care and the offer made by Robin’s nursery this offer has been made without the consent, prior approval or agreement of Cbabiesafe who have alternative plans in place to house and relocate their existing parents and children after the devasting blaze Saturday.

Shocking news for cbabiesafe and thank goodness there were no injuries. As a local childminder to this area, I am proud of the offers of emergency care from other providers to support the nursery in an extremely difficult time ahead.
