Missing teenager Elliot Ben-Sellem was found safe and well in Hangleton, Hove, on Sunday afternoon (22 April) hours after a public appeal for help finding him.

Sussex Police said: “Elliot, 15, had been missing from his Newick, Lewes, home since Friday afternoon (20 April).”

Earlier police said that they were increasingly concerned for the schoolboy’s welfare because he has type 1 diabetes.

PC Ben Wellard said: “Elliot has to have his blood sugar levels checked regularly.

On Twitter, Brighton and Hove Police said: “We are happy to announce missing Newick, Lewes, teenager Elliot Ben-Sellem has been found safe and well in Hangleton, Hove, by officers this afternoon.
