Man arrested over racist Arabic graffiti

A man has been arrested in connection with scores of offensive graffiti tagging in Hove.
A 76-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of using threating, abusive or insulting words to stir up racial hatred and remains in custody.
There have been around 80 incidents of offensive graffiti since November 2018 which police have been investigating.
Most of the tags were written in either Arabic or Persian.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police online quoting serial 819 of 23/06.
