Man charged with causing death by dangerous driving
A man has appeared at court this morning accused of causing death by dangerous driving following a crash which killed biker Ross Kirk.
Joseph Onoyeyasorho, of Anderson Close, Newhaven, was driving a Nissan Juke when it crashed with Mr Kirk’s motorbike on Falmer Road, Rottingdean, in December last year.
Nigerian national Onoyeyasorho, 35, is also charged with driving the SUV with a defective front offside tyre which had the ply or cord exposed.
Ross Kirk, 29, of Tower Road, Lancing, died after the crash, which happened at 7am on Thursday, 6 December.
He has been committed to Lewes Crown Court where he will next appear on 24 October. No plea was entered today.
He was released on unconditional bail.
