Brighton man bailed on knife charge
A Brighton man has been bailed by a court charged with attempted burglary, theft and having a knife in public.
Sussex Police said: “A man has appeared at court charged with attempted burglary at a hair salon, three counts of theft and possession of a knife in Brighton.
“Matthew Sullivan, 36, of North Road, Brighton, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (31 October).
“He pleaded not guilty to the five offences which include committing an attempted burglary at Cuts and Co hairdressers, in Hampton Place, and possession of a knife on (Wednesday) 30 October.
“He was released on conditional bail to appear at the same court on (Thursday) 14 November.”
