UPDATED: A busy road in Hove closed this morning as police talked down a man from a window ledge.
Emergency services rushed to Tisbury Road at about 10.30am this morning.
Police cars blocked off the junction with Eaton Road while officers talked to the man, who was outside a first floor window.
A police spokesman said: “We can confirm police responded to a report of a man in distress at a flat in Tilbury Road, Hove, around 10.36am on Sunday 2 April.
“No offences were committed and officers have since stood down from the scene.”
Yes, he seemed determined to not cause serious injury!!
