Two XL Bully dogs have been seized by police, after a man was reportedly bitten by a dog.
The two dogs were taken to a kennel while police investigate
Reports suggest five police cars attended Whitehawk Road, Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
The man, 36, suffered minor injuries.
A spokesperson from Sussex Police said: “Police were called to a report of a dog which had bitten a man at an address in Whitehawk Road, Brighton around 3.30pm on Saturday (6 April).
“The 36-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
“Officers attended the address and two dogs, which are believed to be XL bullies, were seized and taken to a secure kennelling facility while enquiries continue.”

From the dogs point of view they just want to be mates with everyone,, then a human retard buys a couple,, then because said retard has no clue then proceeds to be “the boss”, dogs know better and from there on it’s downhill and sadly the dogs come of worst. Stan all of this, it’s not the dogs it’s the owners!!! Like children if you don’t raise them right you end up with dog’s with bad manners. They a a reflection of their owners and actually have a remarkable ability for instant rehabilitation in most cases. I also heard there is someone walking around Hove with a probable rescue Greyhound, unmuzzled which has bitten at least one person and attacked several dogs. The man looks like he might have special needs, how the hell was heaven given that dog and therefore what was the point of punishing XL bully oeners if people are still getting bitten by them?? pointles Tory money grab is all it was. If he only has minor injuries then the dogs were not wanting to hurt him! Look at the owner rather than the dogs he probably shouldn’t be in charge of a hamster yet alone 2 dogs – don’t punish the dogs please.

Indeed Chris, there is a focus on this breed at the moment, like several breeds before it. I felt that the Government’s response to this was a knee-jerk reaction at best, even the definition guidance is loose at best and leaves way too much to discretion, in my opinion.
