High street store manager charged with £40k fraud

The manager of a high street clothes store has been charged with defrauding the company out of almost £40,000.

Iveta Vansaviciene, 36, worked at White Stuff, in North Street, Brighton, when she is alleged to have committed the fraud.

The charge says this was done over the course of 16 months, from April 2022 and August 2023.

Vansaviciene, of East Street, Brighton, failed to turn up to her first court hearing at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 17 April.

A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Shes probably deported herself which is why she didn’t go to court. Probably do the same in another country

I totally agree with the deported herself theory and if true that won’t stop till she is thrown in jail.

You’re saying deport her but how do you know she wasn’t born here? 🤔

Totally agree with you. Wish they would go back to where they came from – under the stone!
