An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a man was found in a Brighton street with stab wounds.
Emergency services were called to Charlotte Street in Kemp Town shortly before midnight on Tuesday, 30 December by someone worried about the 29-year-old man.
He was found with injuries consistent with a stabbing. He was attended to by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital to receive further treatment before being released.
A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
