Young comedy fans will get the chance experience grown-up laughs without the rude bits, this October.

The Comedy Club 4 Kids shows are part of the annual Brighton Dome Comedy Festival which, as well as the usual naughtiness, features plenty of PG laughs for younger audiences.

This is the 21st year Comedy Club 4 Kids has been part of the festival.

Organisers source the best stand-ups and sketch acts from the international circuit to perform their routines for children as young as 6.

The routines are just the same as for grown-up crowds but without the rude or sweary bits.

So young comedy fans get the authentic club experience and in return bring plenty of hilarious heckles; favourite’s from previous years include “why is that your face!?”

This riotous show is among a variety of kid-orientated shows and activities at this year’s festival which runs for 10 days from Friday 16 October to Sunday 25 October with Komedia and Brighton Dome sharing hosting duties.

Sketch duo Shelf return to the Studio Theatre with child-friendly music and sketches in The Kids Show 2.

And for slightly older kids, Live at Brighton Dome BLEEPED in back at the Corn Exchange, for ages 11 and up.

For youngsters interested in having a go themselves, there will be comedy workshops held in Anita’s Room at The Dome which culminates in The Young Comedians Comedy Showcase which comes at the end of the festival.

Comedy Club 4 Kids at the Komedia takes place on Saturday 17 October at 2pm as part of the festival and returns on Saturday 12 December.

The show is suitable for kids aged 6+ and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Standard tickets are £9 and a family ticket costs £35. For more information and to book tickets contact www.Komedia.co.uk
