Listen up Darkwave fans – Mercy Girl are heading out on tour!

Mercy Girl

Mercy Girl is sensory euphoria and contemplation. Formed in 2024 by members Daisy Miles, Davey Purdie, Craig Harkness and Kylie MacNaughton, the Glasgow based electronic outfit explore themes of love, despair and the uncertainty of the human experience.

Taking inspiration from EBM, Darkwave and Electro-Pop, Mercy Girl invokes both the solace of a dark empty highway, and the surrender of a neon-hazed dancefloor.

Since launching in November 2024, the band have amassed a global audience and a cult online following. Having their music regularly played at, and being used to promote dark scene club nights everywhere from Los Angeles to Berlin.

Thus far Mercy Girl have released a half dozen tunes and a remix. They opened up their account in November 2024 with the release of ‘Heaven’, which was swiftly followed by ‘I’m In Love’ in December 2024, and ‘Ghost’ in January 2025. In June 2025 ‘No Sound’ came out and by November ‘Closer’ had been added to their roster. The tune got a remix treatment in May this year and was followed by their latest cut ‘Punisher’ which dropped in June. Check out their music on their Bandcamp page HERE.
