Banks cards stolen in a burglary were used in nearby shops in Brighton and Hove’s busiest shopping street.
Sussex Police published security camera pictures today (Thursday 1 October) as part of their efforts to identify a man suspected of using the stolen cards.
The force said: “We are seeking to identify this person in connection with an investigation after a burglary took place at an address in Brighton.
“It was reported that, in the early hours of Wednesday 24 June, an address in Preston Street was broken into and a number of items were taken including bank cards which were fraudulently used at shops in Western Road, Hove.
“Officers have been pursuing multiple lines of inquiry and would now like to speak to this person in connection with the investigation.
“Anyone who recognises him or who has any relevant information which could further aid inquiries is encouraged to report it to us online or by calling 101, quoting serial 802 of 24/06.”
