Academics are asking people in Brighton and Hove to share their thoughts about lap dancing clubs.
University researchers are studying the impact of businesses in the night-time economy for a piece of work entitled: “Nightlife, nuisance and safety in English towns and cities.”
The team, from Kent University and Lincoln University, said: “We are especially interested in the positive and negative impacts of lap dance venues and are interested in your feelings about the appropriateness of these venues in different locations.”

And anyone who is happy to leave their details will be entered for a prize draw.
The research is sponsored by the Economic and Social Research Council, Britain’s largest supporter of academic research in the social sciences.
The results of the study are expected to help inform policies to ensure that Britain’s towns and cities at night are attractive and safe for all.
Brighton has three lap dancing clubs – Platinum Lace in East Street, Grace in North Street and the Pussycat Club in Grand Parade.
