The motorcyclist who died in a crash in Hove last week has been named as 34-year-old Jacek Sawa from Brighton.
Mr Sawa died last Tuesday (28 August) after his Kawasaki motorbike crashed with a Nissan Serena car in Davigdor Road, Hove, by the junction with Lyon Close just before 6.30am.
Mr Sawa, who was from Poland, lived in Stephens Road, Brighton.
He died at the scene from his injuries.
The car driver, a 68-year-old man from Newhaven, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with shock but was later released.
Sussex Police urged anyone who saw the crash or anyone with information to contact the Road Policing Unit on 101.
