Police in Brighton are concerned for the welfare of missing 17-year old Jayjay Amaral, who was not been seen since he left his home in Dorset Gardens, Brighton, on Wednesday 6 August.
Jayjay is described as of Mediterranean appearance, about 5ft 3in tall and of stocky build, with short cropped brown hair and brown eyes. He habitually wears a grey tracksuit and trainers.
Detective Inspector Lee Horner said: “There is no evidence at this stage that Jayjay has come to any harm but this episode is out of character and he took nothing with him for any prolonged stay or travel.
“His disappearance is currently unexplained and with every that passes without any word from or of him we are becoming more concerned.
