Sussex Police said that officers were trying to trace Darren Hogarth, 45, of North Road, Brighton.

Hogarth, who used to live in Stapley Road, Hove, is wanted for recall to prison for breaching the terms of his release licence.

The force said that he was released on licence in August last year after serving 13 months for burglary.

He was described as 6ft 2in tall, white and with dark brown hair.

Although he currently lives in Brighton, Hogarth also has connections to Crawley.

Anyone who has seen or who knows his whereabouts is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101.
