A Brighton man was held up at knifepoint in the centre of town and forced to withdraw cash.
Sussex Police have today (Wednesday 10 February) urged the public to help them trace the two armed robbers.
The force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery of a man in Queen’s Road, Brighton, on Sunday 31 January.
“The 21-year-old victim was walking along the road when he was approached from behind by two men sometime between 12.15am and 12.45am. One threatened him with a knife and demanded his wallet.
“The two men then forced the victim to withdraw cash from an ATM outside Tesco Express before making off towards Brighton railway station. He was not hurt.
“The first suspect is white, aged in his early twenties, 5ft 7in, of average build and wearing a white hooded top.
“The second suspect is also white, of skinny build and aged in his early twenties. He was wearing dark blue hooded top.”
