Three people were taken to hospital after a car crash in Brighton last night (Thursday 14 April).
Firefighters had to cut free two people who were trapped in the wreckage.
Sussex Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a silver Nissan and a white Ford in Warren Road, Brighton at around 9.45pm on Thursday.
“The driver of the Nissan, a 20-year-old local man, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“One of his passengers, a 21-year-old woman from Brighton, was taken to hospital with a suspected fractured arm and collar bone.
“A 25-year-old man from Devon was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The driver of the Ford, a 42-year-old woman from Brighton, suffered bruising.”
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two appliances from Roedean and Hove were sent to Warren Road, in Whitehawk, Brighton, following reports of two people trapped in wreckage following a road traffic collision between a car and a van.
“Firefighters cut the two casualties free from the wreckage and four people were left in the care of paramedics.”
Sergeant Stacey Ellott said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision on Thursday evening.”
