The Hove man who died in a car crash last Wednesday has been named as Gino Mubarek.
Mr Mubarek, 58, from Kingsway, Hove, died after his Ford Fiesta left the road and hit a road sign.
The accident happened at about 10.15pm last Wednesday (15 December) in Clayton Hill, Pyecombe.
No other vehicle was involved and Sussex Police urged any witnesses to call 0845 6070999.
