A Brighton drug dealer who went on the run for four years was jailed today.
Anton Duchesne, 37, formerly of Sillwood Road, Brighton, was sentenced to four years and two years in prison for two counts of having cocaine with intent to supply.
He was also sentenced to two years and one year for having cannabis with intent to supply.
The sentences will run together, making a maximum of four years.
Sussex Police officers found a gas-propelled gun and a hunting knife when they raided his home in January 2006.
They also found £48,000 in cash and 3.5kg of cannabis and half a kilogram of cocaine.
The drugs were estimated to have a street value of £90,000.
Duchesne disappeared but was arrested in Oxford by officers from Thames Valley Police in October after intelligence indicated that he was living there.
Detective Sergeant Mick Richards, of the Sussex Police Money Laundering Team, said that the force would now seek to confiscate Duchesne’s profits from crime.
