A Hove mother and son appear in the latest Three Lions video released as England prepared for their World Cup semi-final.
Stef Fallows and four-year-old Aiden were part of a sign language singalong to the enduring football anthem.
They joined other youngsters with Down’s syndrome and their families in a follow up to a YouTube hit earlier this year to mark World Down’s Syndrome Day.
Their carpool karaoke version of the song A Thousand Years, from the soundtrack to the film Twilight, was viewed more than four million times.
Stef is part of “Wouldn’t change a thing” – a group dedicated to changing outdated, stereotypical perceptions of people with Down’s syndrome.
And the singalong families are linked by a Facebook group called Designer Genes which was set up for parents who have a child with Down’s syndrome born in 2013-14.
The idea for their first video was inspired by Singing Hands, a British organisation whose videos have helped many parents and youngsters learn Makaton.
Makaton is designed to help hearing people with learning or communication difficulties, using signs and symbols alongside speech.
Among the comments left by those watching the Three Lions video, one said: “That’s just all kinds of delightful. Bring a tear to a glass eye!”
