Glam Rock superstars Slade announce rescheduled Brighton gig

Slade

Slade

The legendary Slade were due to perform at the Concorde 2 in Brighton last Christmas, but sadly founding member Don Powell had an unfortunate accident and so the gig was postponed. A new date has been announced. It is Saturday 21st September and there are a few tickets available, so grab them HERE.

Slade are without a doubt one of the most exciting bands to come out of Great Britain in the past 50 years. With their unique blend of perfect pop-rock’n’roll, outrageous flamboyance and pure fun, and no less than 23 Top-20 singles of which 6 were No-1 smash hits …plus 6 smash albums, the band has become a firm favourite in the hearts of pop fans all over the world.

Slade will perform a rare club show in Brighton celebrating 50 years of their illustrious music career. So those lucky punters attending can expect to hear all the classic Slade hits including, ‘Coz I Love You’, ‘Mama Weer All Crazee Now’, ‘GudBye To Jane’, ‘Cum on Feel The Noize’, ‘Far Far Away’, ‘Look Wot You Dun’, plus many more choice tunes.

Slade now features original members Dave Hill on guitar/vocals and Don Powell on drums, as well as John Berry (ex Mud) on bass/violin/vocals and Russell Keefe (Pretty Things, Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers) on vocals/guitar.

This is a rare must see show for any 70’s music fan. There will also be DJ’s playing classic 70’s and 80’s party tunes to further the mood.
