Storms have continued to batter Brighton and Hove with strong gusts reaching up to 100mph.

The roads and railways have been affected, with fallen trees disrupting some Southern rail services.

At Hove railway station, fire crews were called into action after roof sheeting came off in the high winds.

There have been reports of localised flooding and tiles coming off the roofs of homes across the city.
