A teenage boy from Hove who went missing for more than a fortnight has been found safe and well.
Sussex Police made a public appeal for help to find Drew Knight last week, concerned that he had no money, no phone and was increasingly vulnerable.
The 15-year-old had been staying in a care home in Hove but went missing on Wednesday 1 September.
This morning he “presented himself to social services in London”, according to Sussex Police.
Detective Inspector Lee Horner said: “I would like to thank the media for their help in trying to find the missing boy, who is thankfully safe and well.”
The teenager is in the care of the London Borough of Lewisham and had been at the home in Hove for several weeks when he went missing.
