Two armed robbers held up a bank in Hove and escaped with a sum of cash.
The robbery happened as staff were delivering cash to the Santander branch in George Street, Hove, at around 11.30pm last night.
The robbers threatened the staff with what is believed to have been a gun, Sussex Police said.
The two staff handed over cash although the exact amount is not known at this stage.
The first robber is described as black, 6ft to 6ft 3in tall and of slim to medium build.
He was wearing a woollen scarf, a black baseball cap, a black jacket and black woollen gloves.
He had a local accent and is believed to have been holding a small black gun.
The second robber is described as 6ft 2in to 6ft 3in tall, of heavier build than the first offender, wearing a black jacket and a black motorbike helmet with white markings.
Neither of the victims were injured during the incident which lasted a few minutes.
