Two men assaulted a Brighton man on his way to work this morning in what Sussex Police said was an unprovoked attack.
The attack happened shortly before 6.30am today in Phoenix Rise, off Albion Hill, in the Hanover area of Brighton.
One of the men was black, aged 20 to 25 years old, about 5ft 11in tall, of broad build with short, black hair and wearing a black coat.
The second man was described as being of mixed race in appearance and shorter than the other.
Although the victim did not hospital treatment, Sussex Police urged anyone who saw the incident or who recognised the description of either man to contact the force on 0845 6070999.
