Another homeless man was charged with murder last night after the death of Craig Palmer in Russell Square, Brighton, at the weekend.
Mike Zur, 28, was due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court with fellow squatter John Battams, 40.
Three other men have been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of murdering Mr Palmer, 39.
A 27-year-old man arrested on Sunday was bailed on Tuesday evening to Tuesday 15 March.
A 37-year-old man arrested on Monday was bailed on Tuesday evening to Friday 4 March.
A 27-year-old man also arrested on Sunday was bailed in the early hours of yesterday to Tuesday 15 March.
The investigation, led by Detective Chief Inspector Jeff Riley of Sussex Police Major Crime Branch, continues.
Results of post-mortem tests concluded at the Royal Sussex County Hospital on Sunday evening (16 January) suggest that Mr Palmer died as a result of head injuries.
