A Brighton man has appeared in court charged with 15 offences of having child porn.
Nigel Hammond, 36, of Down Terrace, Brighton, appeared before Brighton magistrates today (Friday 6 May) after an investigation by specialist officers.
Hammond was charged with five offences of making indecent still images of children, five of making indecent moving images of children and five of having indecent images of children.
The Sussex Police Paedophile On-Line Investigation Team (POLIT) inquiry looked into more than 1,500 child porn photographs and 250 moving images.
Hammond was remanded on bail to return to Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Friday 17 June for a further hearing.
