Missing Brighton woman is found safe and well

A Brighton woman who was reported missing has been found safe and well, Sussex Police said.

Josephine Giglia, 50, who lives in Rustington Road, Brighton, with her husband and two children, and is also known as Josephine Birkinshaw, was reported to have gone missing on Wednesday 24 August.

Her parents Joseph and Vera issued a plea for her to get in touch last Friday (9 September).

She was found safe in well in Brighton yesterday morning (Friday 16 September), Sussex Police said.

In a statement, the force said: “Sussex Police would like to thank the public and the media for their help in trying to locate Josephine.”
