A man suspected of having a hoard of child porn is believed to be on the run in Brighton.
Sussex Police issued an appeal for help finding Raymond Whittock, 60, after he failed to answer police bail.
Whittock was arrested by Lancashire Police in August last year and was due to answer bail on Wednesday 10 April but failed to show.
Officers said that they believed he was in the Brighton area and appealed for anyone who sees him or who knows his whereabouts to call police on 08451 253545.
Whittock is described as being about 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with receding and greying dark brown hair and brown eyes. He often has a moustache and wears glasses.
Detective Constable Phil Palmer from Blackpool Police said: “We urgently need to speak with Raymond Whittock in connection with indecent images of children and would appeal to anybody that thinks they have seen him or knows where he could be to contact us.”
