Hove Park School is set to close tomorrow as teachers’ strike in protest at plans to turn it into academy.
The NUT balloted its members at the school and last week, they overwhelmingly voted in favour of striking, with 80% in favour.
The Hands off Hove Park blog today reported the school will definitely close tomorrow – the same day the results of a parents’s vote closes.
Parents have been balloted by Brighton and Hove City Council on what they would like the future of the school to be – although the results of the vote will not have any direct influence on the school’s decision.
