Supermoon and meteors visible from Brighton and Hove tonight
The skies above Brighton and Hove are set to be filled with two astrological phenomena tonight – a supermoon and a meteor shower.
The supermoon, where the full moon appears larger and brighter than usual, comes two days before the Perseid meteor shower reaches its peak.
If the stormclouds blow away, it promises to be a special night for south coast skywatchers.

Your headline implies “MOON + METEORS = DOUBLE THE EXCITEMENT” – but the brighter the moon, the less meteors you’ll be able to see, I’m afraid.
