Woman arrested after knife attack on man in Brighton
A woman has been arrested after a 22-year-old man was attacked with a knife in Trafalgar Street, Brighton, on Saturday 2 August.
The victim was with friends near the corner of Trafalgar Court when he was attacked at about 8pm.
Sussex Police said: “He was slashed with a knife causing a scratch along his torso.”
Detective Constable Duncan Lloyd said: “A woman was arrested at the time of the incident. However, we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and can give us some details of what happened.”
A 33-year-old woman from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of assault. She was questioned and released on bail until Sunday 7 September.
