Birmingham City 1 Brighton & Hove Albion 0

The Albion lost their second league game in a row, this time to Birmingham City.

It was the first time the Blues had won at home in the League since November.

Wes Thomas scored the decisive goal with a header ten minutes into the second half.

Albion had chances through new signing Joao Teixeira and Chris O’Grady.

The Seagulls are now third from bottom of the Championship.

As a Birmingham fan living in Sussex its a relief to see another team who have gone completely of the rails. Blues managed to find three teams worse than themselves last year, just!
Its nice to find the first so early in the piece.
I bare no particular malice to Brighton but their demise is pretty shocking. Could they swap places with Crawley?

Alan Watton I think the difference is that The Albion are adhering to the rules of FFP and common law and are clawing back losses . As for changing places with Crawley you are having a Giraffe Surely?
