Kebab Nite in London Road was given zero points out of a possible five after an inspection on Monday, July 21.

But the takeaway insists that its premises are now rat-free and squeaky clean.

Manager Hasan Ilhan said: “We were inspected by an officer from the council and she found rat droppings.

“I have hired exterminators and they caught two rats and after that the problems have stopped.

“The council inspector came back and checked and she’s very happy. The shop is very clean and it’s perfect now.”

If there were 2 found there are plenty more not too far away .

Ironically, the two rats were probably the most intelligent creatures on the premises.
